#10: On taking action
In self-care as in other fields, actions speak louder than words (though words do matter as well). So what do your actions say about you and how important you consider your well-being to be?
I'm writing a new well-being course (more to come on this) and I've been asking myself this question. Answer: I could definitely walk the walk a lot better and it wouldn't be that hard. It wouldn't even take that much time (which is my number 1 excuse for not doing it):
- I can practice yoga for 15 min even when my kids are around (and then give myself extra credit for staying focused despite the noise)
- I can use one of the thousands workout videos on youtube that last less than 15 min
- I can switch off the light at night 15 min earlier...
What can you do?
